Litchfield County resident Herbert Miller, age 63, of Woodbury, was stopped by Woodbury Police on Monday, Feb. 26, after spotting him in the passenger seat of a U-Haul truck traveling eastbound on Main St. North in the direction of his home,
According to Connecticut State Police, Miller had an active prawn warrant for failing to show up to his court appearance on the crystal meth possession on Friday, Feb. 23.
Miller was originally charged on Friday, Feb. 9 during a traffic stop for possession of crystal methamphetamine in both rock form and liquefied into a hypodermic needle prepared for injection, state police said.
Officers followed Miller, who was fired from his job as pastor following his arrest, to his home and charged him with failure to appear.
He was assigned a new court date of Tuesday, Feb. 27, and held on a $100,000 bond that he could not post.
